About me
I am a post-doc in the topology group of Prof. Dr. Arthur Bartels. I did my PhD thesis under supervision of Prof. Dr. Thomas Schick in Göttingen. My research interests are connections between operator algebras and algebraic topology, in particular (twisted) K-theory and index theory. Since I studied theoretical physics before my PhD, I am also interested in topological and conformal field theories with a view towards elliptic cohomology.
Recent activities
- I am a member of the String Geometry Research Network.
- I am organizing the exercise session for the lecture Algebraische Topologie 2 by Johannes Ebert during the summer semester 2013.
- I am organizing a seminar about Topological Methods in Group Theory together with Johannes Ebert during the summer semester 2013
- I gave a lecture about topological quantum field theories during the winter semester 2011/2012.
- I will attend the Workshop "The structure and classification of nuclear C*-algebras" from April, 15th to 19th at the ICMS, where I will speak about recent results worked out in collaboration with Marius Dadarlat
- I will attend the NCGOA 2013 from May, 3rd to 9th
