On the Iwasawa theory of elliptic curves at primes of supersingular reduction

Abstract

Together with R.Greenberg and R.Pollack we have proved the following: let E₁, E₂ be two elliptic curves over the rationals and let p > 2 be a prime of supersingular reduction for both. Suppose that the two elliptic curves are congruent modulo p. Then if the $\mu$-invariants vanish and the Main Conjecture holds for E₁ , the same is true for E₂.
